What polk speakers are these without any tweeter. never seen these before.

Looked up L.E. 14 and found a couple of sites listing them as subwoofers ( L.E. Maybe Low Extension ? ) mating with older smaller monitors.

Look a lot like an RTA12 also....but they have their own model number so they are a separate entity.... red headed stepchild subwoofer

Also appears to have no crossover.

(incorrect assumption based on the dual inputs on the back of the speakers)

It's LF-14. There's one in my basement.
It was built to use singly or in pairs.
