Got me a G1 !!

I made an impulse buy -- I ordered the T-Mobile G1 with Google Android. I guess that makes me an early adopter.:p The phone arrived today. I set it up, but I'll need to play around with it much more extensively to learn the basic features. At $179, the price of the phone is relatively reasonable, but you gotta pay $25/month for unlimited email and Internet access.
So far, it's a very cool device.
I'll report back once I've had a chance to experiment with it.

Let's see...
This phone surfs the net, gets e-mail, plays music and videos, GPS system, 3 megapixel camera with autofocus, and a host of other features. Oh yeah, it happens to be a phone, too.
So far I'm lovin' it.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

how about the size of it? It looks a little bigger than the other smartphones

The device comes with 1 GB. I bought a 4 GB miniSD card for about $10, but I really don't need it. I suppose if you're gonna use the G1 as an MP3 player and/or store videos and pics, you'd want more memory, but for general use, it's not necessary. Besides, that stuff gobbles up battery life.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub

It's the same dimensions as the iPhone, except the G1 is thicker and heavier.HT/2-channel Rig: Sony 50 LCD TV; Toshiba HD-A2 DVD player; Emotiva LMC-1 pre/pro; Rogue Audio M-120 monoblocks (modded); Placette RVC; Emotiva LPA-1 amp; Bada HD-22 tube CDP (modded); VMPS Tower II SE (fronts); DIY Clearwave Dynamic 4CC (center); Wharfedale Opus Tri-Surrounds (rear); and VMPS 215 sub
