What was the Tori Amos disc that was played at PolkFest in two different areas? First time was with Matt's Surroundbar big x2 thing, and the second was in the surroundbar 360 room.
Ludicrous gibs!

The night before at Matt's house he played some stuff by The Blue Man Group on his downstairs rig. Who is the babe that sings Baba O'Riley with those guys? It's not the video with a Tracy Bonham doing it. It's a different video with a different babe. White and black horizontal stripe dress.

Only just a bit off topic (but I'm allowed because it's my thread), I think the best singer who toured with Blue Man was Annette Strean with Venus Hum. Their version of "I Feel Love" from The Complex Rock Tour DVD really shows her talents. Unfortunately, her voice is not as strong as it was then, due to having to have surgery on her vocal chords.

That's her. She has that Brooklyn Italian street babe look that I miss. Great set of pipes too. She's my new favorite person this Adrian.

You're totally misguided in your opinion, but correct in it being your thread.

It all depends on an individual's tastes, George. I did say "I think...". I've been expanding my tastes in female vocals lately, and Annette has a sound I like. Unforunately there aren't many good tracks with her vocals before the surgery. Her voice is still very good now, but you can tell she strains a lot more than she did prior to.

I'm still leaning towards you being totally misguided. Nice speech though!

I love Tori Amos! Well, most of her stuff anyway. The only CD of hers that I actually dug all the songs was Little Earthquake. The songs of hers I like I really like. The ones I dont, bore me to tears.

Excellent musician as well. Love how she uses odd time signatures in most of her songs. As a drummer thats very cool.

Yes, the night at Matt Polk's house was one of those special events that comes along once in a lifetime. The kind of event where you always remember exactly where you were, and who you were with when it happened.

I will post more on the subject later.
