My car is still pretty new but because im young and have a lot of inconsiderate friends ! i track a lot of dirt in my car (im always the damn driver and never get offered gas money grrr) so anyways. i dont want to use anything to harsh.... but i would like to restore it to look new so i can scotch guard it.
talking about the carpet.
What chemicals and tools do u guys recommend?

Turtle Wax makes a foaming spot cleaner that's great for isolated carpet/upholstery stains.

My Jeep is ten years old and I've tried to take good care of it, but sometimes spills happen (usually passengers ). I was amazed at what this stuff removed from my carpet, and I used it on a work vehicle with ink on the seat- did a good job on that too.
A commercial shampooer does a great job if you have to do the entire interior, but as I found out with a near-new Olds a few years back, test the cleaning solution somewhere where it won't show...turned dark blue carpet grayish in a few spots- the GM carpet wasn't as colorfast as others I'd done. -

Yup, Rug Doctor Crap.
It's pretty much just to lay down the soap, you will probably have to brush it with a medium bristle brush by hand then use the R.D. to suck up the soapy mess.
Or if you have a shop vac you can do the same thing.
Buy some carpet cleaning agent, scrub, then vaccum it up.
Now if you want to get crazy you can rent a steamer vac with hose attachment and really clean it up. -

Best way to test it is to remove a seat and test where the seat will cover it. -
Blue coral on the carpet "use to clean cars" and for the dash and all Meguiars NXT tech protect. does not get gressy like armorall and lasts longer to.HT setup

For my dash, I use a water damped rag followed by a dry rag, I use no chemicals.
Before I do any vaccuming I use an air compressor to blow out the interior which will remove most loose dust and debris, then follow up with a thorough vaccuming, every vinyl plastic interior panel gets wiped with the water damped rag followed by the dry one.
I have found this to work best, no matter what interior chemical you use there seems to be a static charge or similar "cling" effect that seems to attract dust particles. On my exterior I do use Meguiars Gold Class, it's inexpensive and pretty good. I also use Meguiars for my tires... -
i ussually use "Mothers" products, becouse there is a store near my house, but the best one Ive used is the 3M for interiors

his car is too nice for cheap, generic, off the wall floor mats. i'm certain he'd want to REALLY protect his investment. At Home:
