Yamaha juice for 7B's, good?

For no other reason other than period matching I was curious if the experts had any opinions on putting 7B's with a C-4 pre and M-4 amp. I'm very happy with what my Carver PM-175 is putting through them currently but I may task that piece solely for an old set of Infinity's. Any experience or opinions on this match-up?

Yamaha and Polk are a classic pairing since the mid-1970s.
My 7As have been driven by a Yamaha CA-610II since 1978.
