I bought a pair of Rtia1 speakers off ebay a little over a month ago, and one of them blew today. When I bought them they were only used a little. But I never or he never signed up for a warranty, is there anything I can do to get it fixed?

Contact Polk Customer service on Monday.

And I would suggest that once fixed that you watch the volume.

I guess the big question is, what do you power them with? Over driving your power supply or clipping will blow tweeters consistantly

That's the risk you take buying off EBAY. What's blown woofer, crossover, tweeter?

He's owned the speakers for about a month, don't thing it has anything to do with where he bought them.

The question is what were you doing when the speaker "blew"? The new Rtia series is pretty efficient to operate, are you blasting them on a low powered receiver?

Listen to Cathy and contact Polk CS, they'll take care of you if it wasn't negligence.
