    Im doing great...

Just been a while since I sat down and hung out with my Taylos -- and I gotta admit, I still love their sound 200%...

Dont see them leaving here any time soon, for sure.

Ive had the 7u for a year and a half now...

No modifications or anything. Still like em

And man - that is a HIDEOUS looking speaker...

Absolutely zero desire to own that...

I love my Tyler's but never was a fan of the Tyler cabinet bases and now they have an ugly cap. Ty really should have gone with a more curved cabinet. I know he likes making the cabs himself but they are just too woodshop 101 looking.

I definitely prefer the new style. I like the angles and the base.

I hear ya on the cap, though. The good thing is -- if you scratch or dent the cap, you can probably pop on another one.

Yeah, the drivers are not purty in the least bit.

    GR Research drivers apparently... *shrugs*

And yes, dark wood would do the speakers wonders

And what about some heavy duty metal outriggers that extended seamlesly from the cabinet? That would expand upon the more modern looking driver colors and help establish the speaker among a wider audience. Right now the design looks old with drivers that appear out of place . . .

I wonder why Ty is going away from Seas and to GR Research

The 7u's are so amazing in all octaves...

I dont know -- if he seriously discontinues the Taylo or Linbrook line up - my future purchases will be used ones Im afraid...

Although it will be many many years it seems before I dive back into Audio... saving money for bigger things have really taken a toll.. :)

Now - I actually like the idea of the base, but I dont like how far the new bases stick out - but also keep in mind these are concept models. They are not done yet...

I hope they paint that tweeter black! Because yuck, what a pimple.

    The caps are hideous... period.

These are more reasonable at $5500 a pair. I kinda like these - I could probably live with the cap.

I think you're right Brad,, even the pictures are starting to "grow on me",,according to Ty,,these will have a larger soundstage than the Linbrook series and tighter bass. All for now.

    I love music.....
    Yes sir........

There is nothing better than Bob Marley's..."Don't Worry, Be Happy" on a great system.

Well, there's a couple of others.....

The pair being shipped here will be in Italian Ebony with black tweeter baffles...
