B-Tech 77 mounts

I know a lot of people use these to wall mount their LSI7s. I just hung mine up with these mounts, but I'm nervous about tilting the speakers downward for fear they might fall out. I really need to angle them down to get the proper sound, but are the side clamps sufficient to hold to the LSI7s up? I am also reluctant to use the mounting screws since that would damage the speakers, right?
Help/advice appreciated!

I dont use the mounting screws in mine, though the screws are small and you can drill them in the cabinet, which would not damage the speaker. The side grip is very very strong so I use that alone, and have yet to have my speaker come sliding out. Im using the Rti4 which should be relatively close in size/weight to your application. No worries, go for it.Shoot the jumper.....................BALLIN.............!!!!!

The LSI 7's are Alot heavier.

I used fishing line to tie my LSi7 binding posts to the BTech frame post in the rear. They've been tilted down for almost a year and the previous, nearly as heavy RTi38 for YEARS.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

So fishing line is the way to go? LSI7s are too heavy to rely on the side grip?Emotiva LMC pre/pro

It's an option that I added as a just in case measure since it's perched over my Piano Gloss SVS subwoofer. You could use shoelaces if you wanted.....cool 80's style FAT laces would be tight.CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Here is another method for those that think the fishing line idea is just to easy. (As an alternative - maybe it is for those that like to over develop things....)
Anyway - this is how my LSi7's are mounted to my B-Tech stands. (and have been at full tilt for at least 2 years now with no issues at all..)

Zip ties, baby!
I'm using LSi7s, and the B-Tech77s - and black zip ties. Snug and secure and I too have them tilted down.
The LSi7s have those chamfered sides so the side clamps don't really have full bite on the sides - so the zip ties add extra security.
