Meanwhile, I'm holding onto my 24K gold CDs of Elvis' "24 Karat Hits", Van Halen's debut album and the Doobie Bros. "Minute By Minute"

    I have a few of the old DCC gold cd's and I must say the ones I have are stellar and while I like the MFSL gold cd's (which I have a few also) I think, imho the Hoffman DCC's are better done..so, if they're as good as some of the originals I'll be looking forward to the possible release in Jan. of some Hoffman classics!

    I can't help but noticed :D

    I am hoping for a scenario similar to that of MoFi....some 24K gold CD, some hybrid SACD....for these releases.

    That link doesn't work for me. There's a sticky at the top of the Music forum regarding suggestions for new releases; it mentions a previous thread that had it's suggestions forwarded to Audio Fidelity. Did they can the thread in the OP?

    I have "School's Out" and "Heartbeat City" coming.....yeah!!

    Don't forget the Doobie Brothers are coming to SACD as well....which makes it the first domestic Warner Music SACD. Warner was previously a DVD-A supporter.
