....just realized one of the woofer drivers in my SDA-crs's was replaced at sometime. Seems like it was Professionally done....hand writing on back of driver. The crs's have the dual sl1000's. Like to restore them and hear the original sound.

Was the driver a Polk replacement? The labels can fall off the drivers, and I have written what the driver was. This may be the case. Polk still sells new replacement MW6503's. If you go that route mention you are a Club Polk member to get the discount. Also keep in mind there are variations of dust caps.

Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks

    Ciao Ben

......don't think it was a Polk .....different build....has a thicker gasket around rubber surround. Sounds good...never noticed a difference but would like to have them restored. Would like an original from that period. Also because i am on a retired budget.....need it cheaper.
