Yeah, if you're planning on selling them soon (you are about due) . . . I would go black.

Whatever matches the rest of your components.

Obviously, you have both, so resale isn't an issue for you. That being said, I still like black over silver. Be unique, do one of each.

I tried that. It looked weird. It reminded me of two twins -- one is obese and the other is slim, and when you see them together you say to yourself, "WTF?"

The black one is a bit brighter and the silver has a silkier sound to it. Gonna keep swapping them out to be sure, though.

I like the Silver. I am also so glad to see you stopped using that three way adapter on the wall. Did I mention that I was an electrician. I could run an extra circuit for you when I heal up;)

Yeah, I know. Let's talk. I already have a dedicated 20 amp 12 ga circuit, but it's on the other side of the room. Can you help me re-locate it?

No Problem. When it comes to electrical I am not a hack by any means. My boss was a great teacher, and a stickler. If it wasn't perfect it was wrong!

I like the black ones better I think. The silver is typical of Rogue gear. You don't often see black plates on their stuff.

Now you need a black face for your CDP.

You can't tell from the pic, but the CDP has gold panels on the sides of it. So I got black, silver, and gold gear, plus a copper power strip and two copper colored power cords.

I prefer the black. It gives the amps a more hard core, "I'm gonna kick some ****" appearance.

I like the silver. Besides, my eyes aren't what they used to be and silver is easier to see and use for me.
Both are nice and probably kickin' some major a..

I've always been extremely partial to silver, myself. But I guess it's whatever strikes your fancy.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

brushed aluminum silver vs black anodized aluminum? doesn't anodizing offer just a hint of hardness to the aluminum? not enough to be worth a darn. but it is an extra step in the manufacturing process, thus creating more overhead and making them worth more. both colors will show scratches if you give them any, but i'd think the black would contrast it worse. black goes with everything, but then again, silver is versatile as well. at the end of the day though, personally i'd choose the silver.
