HD Tuner card

I don't have any use for this myself as I don't have OTA HD channels coming into the house. Simply just say if you're in, nothing else needed. If you want to tell us what you will be using it for and how (hardware, software), go ahead, any info to others who are trying to build a computer based DVR can't hurt.

Good Karma. Not in.
Thanks
BenPlease. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
Thanks

I thought about it, but I really don't need any other distractions when I'm at the PC. Nice Karma, but not in either. For rig details, see my profile. Nothing here anymore...

I could use one of these, in please. Does it tune in SD as well?
I'd be using it to watch TV on my second monitor. I currently do this with an old Compro SD tuner card, and have been wanting to try HD on the PC.

Anyone else, you have time until tomorrow morning. -
Alright, I wrote a program on my break specifically to pick a random winner...
McLoki
He was the first on the list and one of the action items was to make sure the first person on the list also gets a fair chance to win. Looks like it worked! I made sure on my practice runs the software truly picks a random winner so the first person was not in any way favored either. -
Just in case anyone is interested in the software. It's very simple but it does require .NET framework to work (most should have it already).
-
Congratulation Michael!
Sami, it goes by number or id? I can't open the zip file from work. -
Congrats
-
You enter names into a datagrid and push a button when done. It will then tell the name of the winner. You can save the data into XML for later use if you wish to enter people as they post for the karma. Doesn't have support for multiple karmas yet, I guess I could add that as well.
-
Thanks.
-
That's a pretty cool way of doing it. Congrats McLoki!I know just enough to be dangerous, but don't tell my wife, she thinks I'm a genius.

Congrats!
I found a similar program the last time I did a Karma, it was called "TheHat" (like "putting names in a hat"). You enter a list of names and it essentially randomizes them for you. Nice little program, requiers next to nothing to runIf you will it, dude, it is no dream.
