I've been looking to match my speakers all around for the last couple of years, but seems like other purchases keep eating up my $$.

I've been running some Polk S10's as fronts for a while, and upgraded my center to a CS245i last year. Problem now is finding other "i" series speakers to go around the room since they're all now discontinued.

Anybody have any 25i, 35i or 55i sets they want to sell? I'd even be interested in some 600i or 800i's if the price were right.

Or does anyone know of any websites that still have i series speakers in stock?

    Ebay has got Polk speakers all the time. If you cant find it today, check back in a few and you'll probably find what you are looking for.

    Basically, keep your eye on Ebay. Over the past few months, I have seen probably about 4 or 5 pairs of the 55i's pop up there......

    Brett - thos 25i's.....are not 25i's. I dont know what they are, but the 25i's have blue drivers.

    They always have people looking for A/V stuff. Totally baffled were to get it. We mention and go on to research and post Ebay stuff - and BAM!!!!!!! It is like an end all. Guess some people have yet to discover Ebay. :eek:

    Actually some people just don't like buying off of Ebay because it can be a pain in the a**. I've been scouring Ebay for months, but I'd rather buy from an individual that I can bargain with instead of having to pay the bloated auction price. Ebay is a normally a sellers market.

    I'm sorry that I came across as "Totally baffled" and you think that I "have yet to discover Ebay". Not the case *scott*, I'm just trying to make a purchase on my own terms.

    Hey, don't take offence. Take a deep breath. I have had no ploblems on Ebay. Just got to know what you are doing. Be careful - research - contacts. Many people like you disappear after the ol Ebay reference. Nothing personal Man. "You can do it."
    All the speakers you are looking for Mike are out of production and that is why Ebay is your best bet. Take Care!

    I didn't take offense. I just can't stand it when people automatically jump to conclusions and make sarcastic remarks when they aren't called for.

    I'm actually very comforatable using Ebay, I just prefer not to if I don't absolutely have to. Been Ebaying for a couple of years now. I've never gotten burned, but I know plenty of people who have and have had some pretty crappy experiences just contacting sellers about product.

    I'm aware that the speakers are no longer produced, and as a result I'm here checking to see if there are any Polk owners that are upgrading or looking to get rid of some equipment.

    All that said, I actually found exactly what I was looking for at a Circuit City I was at this weekend. They had some demo 35i's and fx300i's for about 1/3 the list price.
