Anyone have any contact info for BigAudioFanatic?

I purchased some CD's from BigaudioFanatic in this thread on 8/21.

Two and a half weeks went by and I had not heard anything about them so I sent an pm inquiring about them. (on 9\7) I heard back on 9\10 that they were shipped the day before. (on 9\9)

To be honest, i kind of forgot about them as they were a spur of the moment purchase and nothing I deperatly wanted or was waiting up for. I did finally realise that I had never recieved them and sent another PM on 10\10 asking about there whereabouts. - To no answer. (also on 10/12 I replied to the thread I purchased the CD's in that I still had not recieved anything thinking that if he had not seen my PM, maybe he would see this when he logged in again.)

I know he was recently in a motorcycle accident and not checking the board as often, but I finally noticed that he had logged on and not responded to my PM (or for sale thread) so I sent another pm to him. (on 10/22)

So I noticed that he logged in again last night and still no word from him. $23 will not make or break either of us and I understand there are more important things in life than audio. If it slipped his mind - fine. Being lied to and ignored kind of pisses me off though. Anyone have his contact info (and can PM it to me or can contact him directly) so I can get word as to what is going on?

Any help will be appreciated.

Michael

No, Stereo_Luver is history as far as I know. You already made nice, big donations this year Mike, and I thank you.

    Sorry for the de-rail Michael.

BigAudiFanatic lives in NJ. Not sure where though but I think it's some place down south. Like Paulsboro or something. I might be mistaken. though.

I don't have any info for him. Honestly, he was/is frustrating enough on the forums that I don't care to waste my time being face to face with him. Twenty some odd dollars is not worth a visit either. But he's on the ever growing "asshat list" already. Injury or not, a lack of communication and/or lying is not the way to go.

So has this ASSHAT made any attempt to square things Michael?

I can't believe he's still logging in ... with the economy looking shaky these days, I wonder if we're going to see a rise in this type of behaviour (see also mmadden28's bad deal on Audiogon http://www.polkaudio.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73841). Not very inspiring, to say the least ...

Post in the threads he posted in? He may very well read the responses.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Interestly, I received a response from BAF stating that like he said they have been sent out about a week ago and that they should be there. I looked, but don't see where he said that on the forum, although I may have missed it. Anyway, a week? Hell, I can send a CD to Japan and it only takes 3 days.

This kind of business practice is unacceptable.

I did get a PM from BAF (finally) and he did state that he already sent them and did not know why they weren't here yet.

I asked how he sent them and what address he sent them to and he replied that since he is in New Jersey and I am in Texas - it could take awhile to get to me but I should have them by now. (he did not mention the address he sent them to)

I assume part of the delay may be that I actually live in Illinois not Texas.... We will see what happens and I will let you know how it goes as the saga continues. At least he has started communicating with me - thanks for all the help everyone.

Ummm...Cabela's just sent me a package that was supposed to take 3-5 bidness days. I order it on Monday, they shipped Tuesday night from Wisconsin and it showed up today. If Cabela's can do it in less than 3 days, he can.

And I live in NJ. I know how long it takes to mail stuff places.

Oh and if it was mailed, then they should have given you a tracking number. Even the post office does that now. Why don't you send the tracking number so McLoki can view the progress of his package?

But if I were you, I'd be scrambling to find that package.

And everyone here knows you pulled a stupid stunt on your "organ donor mobile" and got hurt. That's probably why the dogs haven't been called out yet. Don't take advantage of that and fix this.

I'm not giving him the benefit of the doubt by any means, but depending when they were shipped, if he sent them media mail, which I'm sure he did to save money it can take 2-9 days or longer. I'm in the Boston area and have seen it take 9 business days(or close to it) to send a package from here to Face on Long Islan. I've NEVER seen it take longer and I've seen it go cross country in 3 days. Ultimately, there is no excuse and he should be able to provide a copy of the receipt or a tracking number. When I'm shipping packages if I don't use paypal to ship I always scan a copy of the receipt or tracking information should there be a problem.
