NAD C325BEE or Onkyo A9555 for RTi8's?

I have recently upgraded my speakers from Polk R50's to RTi8's (yeah - I love Fry's closeouts :D ) and hear a huge improvement. I also went to Bluejeans Cables and bi-wired using Canare Star Quad 4s11.

Now my old Onkyo TX-8211 2-channel receiver (50 wpc) is the weak link in my system and I wish to replace it. I listen to primarly to jazz and bluegrass at moderate volume levels, and the Onkyo does provide enough volume. I rarely use the tuner and so want an integrated amp.

Will either the NAD C325BEE (50 wpc) or Onkyo A9555 (80 wpc) drive my RTi8's properly? Which one would you prefer or should I get something else?

I should have included the NAD C352 (80 wpc) and about the same cost as the Onkyo A-9555

The NAD C325BEE seems to enjoy almost legendary status for true power. I would not think the Onkyo will ever get that much respect ... (no matter what the specifications might say on paper, BTW). I would not imagine the RTi8 are all that hard to drive either.

Never heard either but I would go with the C352 on reputation alone. The RTi-8s are easy to drive and the NAD leaning to the warm side of neutral will work great with the RTis which are on the bright side of neutral.

I had the C320Bee powering my Polk RTA12C's & they did so effortlessly. No problemo.

But if you can get the C352 w/more power, I think you should. I would.

I have not heard the others, but the NAD C325BEE is a great value for the money.

Well I picked up an Onkyo A-9555. I could not find a negative review and both Stereophile and Absolute Sound had it in their recomended components. I set it up today (I replaced an old 50w Onkyo receiver) and I am hearing more music than I thought I would so I am very happy.

Thanks for your responses and help
