I just picked up this sub at a garage sale for $100, have not had a chance to hook it up yet. I currently have the LSi7's, I was wondering if anyone has had any experience on this sub, and if it'll go well with Lsis.
Setup:

2 Channel: Vienna Acoustics Mozart Grand, T+A P 1230R, Primare SPA21, Oppo BDP-105
PC: Vienna Acoustics Haydn Grand, Cambridge Azure 650A v2 , Peachtree iDAC, Denon DVD-3800BDCI

It's an old Klipsch sub.... precursor to the KSW-15.

It's not BAD, it'll go fairly low, i just didn't feel that it was too fast or accurate, but that may have been placement when i last heard one. I WILL say that it'll shake stuff pretty well.

They had an issue with these shaking stuff loose inside, so you may have to mess with it a little if you have a rattling problem.

For $100, if it's in good shape, i think you did pretty well. I enjoyed mine when i had it, but my current RW-10D blows it out of the water (and costs more than what you paid) so i'd consider it a decent trade-off. :)

Let us know what you think.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

Thanks for the responses. I have been doing without a sub for quite sometime, so far I am pleased with it. I have not tried on a blue ray movie yet, but the bass sounds good enough for me, and its made a pretty good improvement on my setup.

I am still debating on what my next upgrade will be. I have the lsi7's powered on HK 3385. I still feel the speakers can sound better I still need a center channel and want to get the LSi15's and a better sub eventually.

What would you guys recommend I upgrade next? I am still on a budget so still have to get things one at a time, unless I make some money playing poker.

I have ls7's as mains powered by HK 3385, and the H/k avr 335 powering the Fxi5's and the new sub. I am leaning towards a better amp, something will be able to power the Lsi15's later.

It depends what you mostly use your system for.....if you do a lot more of HT, you may what to invest in a center.....but if you do listen to a lot of music, I would go with an amp....

Personally, I would go with an amp.

I am leaning towards an amp too, but I know the next amp I get I want it to be a good one. I want to be able to not just be good enough for the LSi7's but also for a new pair of floor standers when I upgrade later for that. I guess I'll need to do some research on amps.
