    Guy sure likes his Lambo's.
    If...
Ron dislikes a film = go out and buy it.
Ron loves a film = don't even rent.

That's a pretty sweet idea and wouldn't cost too much in the field of custom garages.

I bet you'd be looking at close to $100k for a driveway / garage like that.

And I thought having just a one lift was cool, but that is pimp. That is why when building your house just make sure its a 6 car garage to begin with.

    So short sighted.

I'd have to be upgrading in a measly 15 years, at the latest! :p:D

Nice cars but I would take the new corvette ZR1 over any of those cars anyday best bang for the buck.
Yeah its $100,000 but show me another car with the same performance for that price. lets see beets the million dollar enzo and broke the record at nurenburg ring pretty impressive car I would say.

Broke the record at the 'ring? Say what? What record? When did it beat it? By how much? What was its time? I've not heard anything about that.

    I need details, man!

Ok, I just looked it up, and the latest records I can find are old news. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE the Corvette and new ZR1. It lapped the 'ring in 7:26.4, beating the GT-R's 7:29. However, the Viper ACR then lapped it in 7:22. Some record, huh? And I'm sure the GT-R V-Spec to come will also wax the ZR1's time. I wish it weren't so, but I'm sure it will.

HOWEVER, the 7:26.4 was set by a GM engineer. Now, I don't mean to stereotype, but I'm just ASSUMING that there are better drivers for setting laptimes than a GM engineer. I'd like to see a laptop from a dedicated driver (such as the laptime set in the C6 Z06; can't remember the guy's name) in the ZR1!

EDIT - Oh, and sorry for fueling the little derail. I just got excited when I heard about a record-breaking laptime! :D

Sorry for offending you jstas just commenting about a car I like whats the deal with the egos in this forum "whatever"

GT-R is sweet but come on use the launch control breaks the tranny voids warranty cost about $40,000 to replace tranny pretty lame if you ask me. Use a feature the cars has and voids the warranty doesnt make sense.

I posted about the garage. The cars are nice too but I would rather have the garage. Couldn't care less about the pissing match that you have started so thanks for shittin' up the thread there champ. You wanna argue about lap times that you and pretty much no one else here will be able to achieve with a car that very, very few people here can actually afford at a place where most will likely never go then do it in your own thread. I avoid threads like those. I don't start them.

OOOO! That REALLY hurt me! Somebody on the Internet doesn't like me! What ever am I going to do? Go start your own thread about Corvettes. There are plenty of people here that will jump at the chance to bow down before you altar of the "mighty" ZR1.

But there is more to it than just performance and that is why I don’t consider the ZR1 a true super car like the Lambo’s. It’s about the complete package and achieving high-percentile results in every category, including performance (which is ALL of acceleration, lateral acceleration, braking, top speed), fit and finish, sound, character and experience.

No doubt the ZR1 has supercar performance, actually it has better performance than most supercars, but the interior is the same plastic cheap Corvette interior (-1 on fit and finish), it doesn't sound particularly different than any big iron V8 (-1 on sound) and although the car is exclusive within the Corvette line, 99% of the general public won't realize you're driving a car that is not one of the 5000 or however many standard models made in that body style that every guy in his late 30's buys when they have a mid-life crisis (-1 on experience).

What good is a garage like that? It appears two of the cars remain outside? Seems to defeat the purpose of having a garage.

Or someone else parks half way on it, not realising the driveway moves. I see lots of liability issues with that thing.

Looks like there is no escape all the way down either:eek:
It also appears the car can only be about 40 inches tall. I think that thing would make a heck of a trash compactor:D

I think the cars were left there for demonstration purposes.

Also, from what I read on the site I found the video on, all those Lamborghinis were there because of a Lamborghini club meet.

Those type of garages are very popular in Europe for space constraints. My brother lives in Germany and says those are very common.

Maybe the guy used to work on an aircraft carrier? Maybe there's a 10,000 sq ft hangar below? Maybe not?
