I have bougth a Marantz PM-15S1 for my news LSi15 polk audio speakers, and I am very happy. Before I had a Marantz PM 7001, and it is very big diference. The sound is clear and very soft. Now the speakers work very good. I recomended a hight standar ampli for these speakers!

For 2 channel, some people have started upgrading the capacitors and resistors in the LSi15 crossover. They have been reporting a much better 2 channel experience with them once done.

Not saying you have to - just that the speakers do have a little more to give.

    Enjoy,

    Michael

How long is the warrenty on the LSi speakers? Not that I plan to try and upgrade any componenets on my LSi15, but who knows what might happen after a few beers and an idle soldering iron.

Speaking of upgrading, I purchased a pair of PSB Synchrony One towers and a Cambridge-Audio 840W for the living room, and they sound great. However, now when I use the HT room (4 LSi15s) for music I am impressed at how good the Polks sound. The PSBs are obviously better, but not by very much. Of course the HT room is acousticly treated while the living room is just a big open space.
