It's a 51" Hitachi, just brought it home yesterday. I haven't ran any calibration yet, but I like it a lot so far. It's only a 51" but it seems HUGE in my apartment! :)

Oh yeah, the Polk stuff - RTi70's, PSW650, and the center from an RM7600. My rears are from the RM7600 also.

Congrats, excellent new rack! Calibration is a MUST! Grab yourself AVIA or VE and go to work.

    Peace Out~:D

I second Ron-P. Calibrate!!! I went with VE (now OOP), and am waiting for the new digital VE, which is suppoed to be even better.

Also, ISF calibration is worth it if you are very discriminating, but the VE/AVIA comes very close.

Looks good. Best use of a corner setup I've seen in a LONG time.

I'm curious, how much distance between the floor and the bottom of the screen? Just wondering if you considered having your center on a stand in FRONT of the tv? It might get it a little closer to the distance out that your mains are located.

Just thowin' something against the wall, seeing if it sticks. ;)

    Cheers,
    Russ

Mx, been in 2 different apartments a total of 9 months and ZERO noise complaints so far! I've been trying, I swear! :D

Russ, I would estimate the screen to start about 20" from the ground, maybe slightly more, but I'm just eyeballin' it. I've also considered putting a wedge under the back of the center speaker so it is angled down closer to ear level. Distance-wise I think I'm pretty even. I'll probably pickup a calibration disc tomorrow since it's payday, and then see what happens.

The new Hitachi's are great this year. Congratulations !

How far you sitting back? I'm about 9 ft. from my Toshiba 50", which seems to be about the norm for most others.

Make sure your set can support the speaker's weight or else it may begin to bow over time. My cs400i has been on the pro-jo for well over a year and no problems but just to be safe , i'm gonna make a separate shelf of some sort.

begbie, I'm about 9-10' back too. It seems just right. The center channel seems fine, but I'm hoping to get a bigger one at some point. I keep suggesting to Polk to make an LSi equivilent to the CS1000P and if they do I will own it. :)
