Right now i have a pair of monitor 60's as fronts and a Boston Acoustic 10" 250 watt sub, with a Klipsch center.

I know i have a mis match system, but it sounds good. Next is surround speakers and i have been curious about the Mirage omnistats ?

Anyone heard them and are they any good ?

I like them, a lot. Definitely very well suited as a surround set. The imaging is very good, and they tend to eliminate the dead spots that occur from setting your rear speakers too close to where you sit in small rooms. The reflecting aspect is a pretty neat gimmick that actually seems to work.

I would recommend them. :) Obviously no bass to speak of, but in a rear surround, not a huge deal.
I don't read the newsssspaperssss because dey aaaallllllllll...... have ugly print.

    No problem.

Don't take just my opinion and run with it though. I'm sure other people will have input, with probably more experience with different speakers than i, and may be able to give better suggestions as to what to get.

I only had the Omnisats for about a week as a demo from a local shop, so i didn't get much chance to really mess with them, but i got a solid 15 hours or so on them, and enjoyed them very much.

That being said, for my personal situation, i couldn't justify the price, and left my Paradigm Titans as my rear surrounds.

As a side note, i loved the floorstanding version of the Omnisats, especially when paired with my dual S8s in a 2.2 setup. :D

They where running about $200-250 a piece, but Vann's has them on sale for $129.00 each.
