Well I have just ordered the final component for my 2CH, a Audio Research VS115 Amp. This is brand new and should be here in a couple of weeks. Once it arrives I will post some comments. WOW this Rig has taken a long time to put together.

Thanks George. The other gear will be the ARC LS26 Pre and an Esoteric X-03 SACD player. Plus the cables and all that. The VS115 is a new amp from ARC released in Q1 of this year. I have not heard anything bad, only good reviews. (Not to be confused with the VS55 or VSi55)

Good stuff. The local ARC dealer thinks pretty highly of it. The extra 50 WPC
you got over my VT60 should really get the job done. I wish I could find a decent
ARC pre that doesn't require a mortgage.

I'll get around to doing a review when I put some more hours on the amp.
After approx. 20 hours, I turned the amp on one morning and heard a pop. Then I see 2 thin lines of smoke coming from the amp. Ah ****. Long story short, the dealer in Edmonton and Audio Research had me pack up the amp and ship it back. It was not more than 2 days out the door and a brand new one arrived. Audio Research believes that something may have happened during shipping. They really looked after this quickly and are very interested in keeping clients happy. Anyway, I have about 100 hours on the tubes so perhaps another 100 to go.

    Nice setup!

Have you given thought to rearranging the rack though? Putting the beautiful tubes up top, the plain component under it, with the pre and CDP on opposite sides? Sorry, just a little OCD... :D
