Earlier today I posted a thread commending Audio Adviser for their excellent customer service. I'm having so much good luck today that I'd like to invite others to recommend good companies they've dealt with in their audio journey.

Here's another example from Gary Dodd . . . solved the problem in no time flat.

Michael,
It is impossible for the battery preamp to be a source of groung loop problems, it is pure dc, no ac anywhere in the mix. It can however be fed a loop noise from elsewhere. I don't think the tubes can cause this proble either. the tubes can be noisy and cause the tweeter noise but not loop noise. If you suspect the tubes try swapping them side for side this will use the unused section of each tube and if a section is noisy it could fix that problem. I ship the units with JJ 6922's I do have some in stock if you need them. My favorites are the white label Amperex 6922's from the late 50's to early 60's tubes. These can be found on e-bay for good deals ($100 pair or less).

Thanks

Gary

I'd like to recommend Jeff from Sonic Craft for helping me out many times over the phone and via email.

Kent D. Loughlin, VP of MIT cables for the same reason.

Elemental Designs for standing behind their products even though they probably took a nice hit on me.

Polk CS is also worth a honorable mention, but that should go without saying.

Personally, I think we should all chip in and get Ken Swauger a lap dance in the Champagne Room.

Hell yeah! I'm in. He manned the phones while others were playing. Ken, Stu, and MP have been excellent to me, and many others:)
Please. Please contact me a ben62670 @ yahoo.com. Make sure to include who you are, and you are from Polk so I don't delete your email. Also I am now physically unable to work on any projects. If you need help let these guys know. There are many people who will help if you let them know where you are.
    Thanks
    Ben

Ken, the hardest working man at Polk. I'm convinced of it.
