Played COD4 for just a couple minutes and the video started freezing up, then I got the red ring of death (3 red lights), just trying to turn the 360 on. This sux, already sent it back once.

I had the RRoD appear when I relocated my console from one cabinet to another. Originally it was horizontal. The new place it was vertical and that's when I started getting the RRoD after a few minutes. Suffered for a few weeks, then finally gave in and was about to call for support, when I tried to put it back to the horizintal position, and I haven't had the RRoD again yet (knock on LSi Wood).
What the hey can't hurt to try right?____________________

Finally sent it in today. As soon as the UPS lady saw the label she knew it was an xbox 360. I said 'I bet you've seen a lot of these over the last couple years' and she replied, 'we still have 10 to 14 go through here a week'

Yeah... for the record, since my last post in this thread, my non-heatpiped Core system died. So I'm on number 11 now. The Premium's still rock solid though.
The good news is this: Every other system they've sent me was a new serial number, meaning I just ended up with someone else's system that was refurbished. This time, I got the same serial number back... but when I hooked it up to my network, it had a different MAC address. That means they replaced the motherboard completely. Same system, completely different guts. Hopefully you'll have the same luck.Equipment list:
