Cryptography anyone?

My fiancee is having a terrible time in her cryptography class and the book is a worthless POS. It is basically a book of problems with really no help in solving anything. Its an online course with no teacher or TA or anything, and the university currently offers no tutors on the subject.

Anyway, she has a take home test due Tuesday at midnight and I was wondering if anyone smarter than us in the subject would have the time/patience to help us get her through it.

I'd be greatly appreciative!!!

The only suggestion I would make, is go to the local university, and find out where the math geeks hang out on line?

wellllll........ I did a little bit of it in a cyber-security course a few years back.

It's kinda fun once you get into it. I may have a few ppts left over from that somewhere. The instructor was/is great about providing online info. In fact, since the semester's started, I'ma gonna mosey on over to his website and see what he's got onilne.

Did you use Maple while doing it unc? I think most of her problems is not just doing it, but doing it with Maple.
