It's no secret that I like the eagles, and I promise to stop writing about them soon... but I'm sitting in my HT working on a semester final report and put in the Hell Freezes Over DVD for the first time. I have listened to the Farewell I DVD a billion times and was under the impression that the HFO DVD was of similar quality. I was wrong. I'm quite dissappointed in the HFO disc. Am I missing something?

I definately preferr the big show they made for FI over the intimate and almost unplugged nature of HFO.

It is of similiar quality, it was just a very different sound then what we are used to hearing the Eagles sound like!

I was really disappointed with Hotel California when I heard it, but I have grown to like it as much as the original version.

I have the Hell Freezes over on both heavy vinyl and DVD. The vinyl is simply gorgeous, a first-rate vinyl pressing. To my ears, nothing sounds this good, so I do prefer the vinyl to the DVD audio quality. But, the DVD sounds quite good on my system. Sounds like something is askew somewhere, but I dunno where.:D

PS: Out of Eden on heavy vinyl is sublime!!

The Out of Eden Redbook is fantastic too. The concert was nearly identical to F1 but I'll still buy the DVD if they make one.
