...you suck!

Having a great time already and...yes, the super nerd that I am, I have my laptop with me with a wireless broadband card. I'm sitting in the tent for lunch, listening to the band and posting on the forum.

I dunno if I rule or drool. All I know is that I am way cooler than all of you cause I'm here and you're not! :p

Poser. If you were really any kind of cool uber-nerd, you'd stream video for the unfortunates thru the webcam on your laptop.

    -or at least post jpegs.

    Have fun, Ace.;)

Thanks John. Rub it in. It's EFin raining, and miserable here. At least I have the world's largest SDA's, and they are dialed in pretty good. Allison Krause is in the other room. Gotta go.

I didn't realize it was in Baltimore. I guess that makes sense since that's where Polk's headquarters are located and I worked there for a time, heh.

I should have stopped by. Oh well.

If I ever get to a PolkFest, I hope I do NOT end up at a chain like TGI Fridays! If that's the way it is, I'm going to Erik Tracy's house to have tawny port in the middle of the afternoon and listen to his new LSi7s ... :p

All I can say is... the 6 hour round trip today was worth it. Wish I could've stayed for tomorrow's festivities, but you know... these things happen. Didn't win any of the awesome door prizes, but the hospitality of the Polk Audio crew was more than enough to make it a good day. Congrats to the folks who won some kick-**** gear... Brett, you're a lucky SOB, but then... you know that already.

For those of you who missed it... well, you missed some good demos, including one of a product that may or may not see the light of the retail shelves. A completely custom speaker that was the brainchild of Matt... essentially a enormous surroundbar. Pictures will come as soon as I get them uploaded.
    Ludicrous gibs!

    No "live webcam feed" because,

    #1 no web cam

#2 not really allowed to broadcast secret stuff on the Intarwebs

#3 not gonna blow by mobile broadband time on something so frivolous. You wanna see what's up, get your butt to a PolkFest. Stop whining about feeds on forums.

#4 the general consensus has been to deem those who were not there unworthy of sharing in the festivities remotely. For the reason why, see #3.
