RM7 and RM8 Speaker Locations
Hi. I couldn't find anything on this from doing an advanced search so here goes.
I recently purchased an RM510 speaker system from Circuit City. The kit included the following:
(2) RM7 speakers
(2) RM8 speakers
(1) RM8C center channel speaker
(1) PSW110 subwoofer
Since the RM8 speakers have dual cone reflecting woofers (did I say that right?) should they be used as the front speakers or the rear surround sound? Thanks for any advice.

They can be used in either configuration- I'd recommend this- if you need to put the front speakers very close to your TV, you'll get a more expansive soundstage by using the RM8 in the front.
On the other hand, if you can space the front speakers out some, you'll be better off with the RM8's as the surround. The Wide Dispersion Array (dual cones ) will do a better job in creating an enveloping surround effect.-Eric
