I got family coming down for Thanksgiving, and both they and I are getting tired of Lizzard Thickets!:(
So, just wondering how many, if any, here have tried Harry & David, Oaklahoma Steaks, etc. for prepared meals, and what your opinion was?
I'm assuming they'll be overpriced, but I don't care, as long as he quality is good.
Thanks for any feedback.

Wouldn't that be Omaha Steaks and not "Oaklahoma" Steaks? As in Nebraska, not Oklahoma.

Nothing beats home cooked. I suggest going and slaughtering your turkey the night before so it's fresh as possible and doing it yourself.

If you want high quality meat, go to your local butcher. Nothing is fresher than local and newly slaughtered.

Omaha is very expensive, the portions are very small for the amount you pay, and the food is sub par at best. It's doesn't even come close to fresh butchered meat.

Omaha and any other online retailer is horrible. This is food you're talking about not audio gear. You're pissing your money away. If you want a good cut of steak you can't beat your local butcher. Establish a relationship with them, be loyal and they will treat you like a king.

Personally, I love Omaha Steaks filet mignons! They are so tender & so long as you don't over cook them you can cut them with a bread knife.

Are they expensive YES, but to me it was well worth the expense for a while.
