More than likely, I will be selling my McIntosh MX-119 and MC-126. Since I maybe watch 1 movie a month and watch very little TV, the plan is to once again center my rig around 2 channel, and put home theater on the back burner.

I have original McCrates for both items and original owners manuals. Both items are rated 9/10 only due to being used. Otherwise, I can't find anything wrong with them. Just a heads up, the MX-119 does not have the optional tuner which is reflected in the price. Just a FIY, the MX-119 shares the same preamp circuitry as the C45 preamp.

Here is more info on both models: http://www.berners.ch/McIntosh/en/Frame_Compendium.htm

I reserve the right to sell my gear to members of my choice. Local buyers also have preference since it's difficult for me to ship anything with my back.

I am asking $3,000 for the MX-119, $2,200 for the MC-126.

Pictures available later this week.

If any Polkies are interested, I'll work on the prices...especially if you take both.

They're going to Audiogon after PF.

Items will be listed on Agon tonight or tomorrow with the prices above.

Polkie prices will be 2700 and 2000 respectively, even less if you pick up.

Ok, I've gotten lazy and haven't put them on Audiogon yet.

Prices are down to $2600 and $1800, we can work something out if you want both or pickup with cash.

I don't know if I'd be able to tell the difference ;)

It's like driving a Prius vs. Corvette - if you're only going 55, do you really need the extra hp?

Well, since you drive 55 and loud noises scare you, we know the answer to that. :D

the prius... being made in Japan and being that quick would qualify it as being a rice rocket in my book
