Have to let this wonderful amplifier go, like with the Manley Stingray Sale this one has to go to pay for the tubed amps I am moving to. This truly a man amp amongst the best that solid state technology has to offer.

So VK-500 with bat-pack upgrade by Balanced Audio Technology for 1975.00 plus shipping to Polk Audio Club members, no bids, dibs etc. Yes, I will take the paypal fwith the 3% upcharge tack on. As always I reserve the right to sell my gear to members of my choice. I have linked to the POLKFEST 07 showcase where you can see some pics, the pics show a few smudges on the face plate as they are from Polkfest, rest assured the face plate is clean and the amp is 9/10.

If you ever wondered what all the hub-bub about hi-fi is, here is your chance to step way up and see at reasonable cost. This amplifier sold new for 6,000.00, it includes the bat-pak set of oil filled capacitors which boost the energy storage of this unit to over 1400 joules. I would suggest you visit the Balanced Audio website and read their white papers. This amplifier drives anything, rated at 250/475 watts 8/4 ohms, this is not even half the story. This is really two monoblocks in one chasiss, each has its own seperate power cord, sorry price does not include upgraded cords, I would suggest you use an ungraded cord for this unit, BAT uses many smaller capacitors in their circuit topology instead of a few large ones, the result is massive power, speed and a much more refined sound you just cant get with ordinary amplifier products.

Nice smooth top end and this amp will make your speakers growl with all the bass they have the potential to release. Now this amp weighs 105 pounds so shipping is going to be a consideration. I can bring to the fest for a buyer who has the cash and save the shipping for you. Sale includes original shipping cartons and manual.
