looking for a pair of magnaplaner tymphani I-D these have three panels per side what is the average selling price for a good used pair thanks undermench

    I recently saw a set of those for $850 asking. I think they went for $650-700.
    The buyer and seller were negotiating shipping, they were going to go 550 miles. I don't remember the cost to ship. They are heavy and hard to box properly. Expensive to ship was my impression, they had to go by truck.
    They sound beautiful, I remember them pushed by an ARC SP3 and D76 combination, outstanding performance in a room that wasn't so great.

    Where do you live?
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
