Not exactly hi-def, but does this actually work? I don't have a bare cable to strip and try it with right now, but winder if this actually does work. Time for some D-I-Y action...Current Setup:
Yamaha AX-450 Amplifier
Yamaha YST-SW216 Sub
Sony DVPNC800H/B CD/DVD Player
Samsung LNT2653H LCD TV
polkaudio R150's -
From what I seen in the video NO.
The 2 wires are twisted together would do nothing other then kill would you plug this DIY speaker into it.

A corroded penny will result in poor sound quality.... lol.

Guess I will be sending the new tweets I ordered from Polk for my 10b's back when I get them and use the money for lots of plates and foil. I wonder if you were to mount these bad boys on a sand/shot filled stand if it would improve the already awesome sound, hmmmm. Also wondering if I were to add a mint penny with certificate of authenticity that it would also improve the sound a little; maybe throw in some silver wire and I have a $10,000.00 system for under $20.00.
