Cobalt Cable, out of business???

Does anyone know if Cobalt Cable is still in business? I've been trying to call them for several days and keep getting a fast busy signal. I tried placing an order online several times and it keeps coming up with a website maintenance message.

The website is still up, just can't get anywhere online or on the phone.

Here is the message I just got:

Sorry, Cobalt Cable Online Store is closed for major maintenance/repair. We will re-open as soon as possible. Thanks!

I went through the same thing too. Even looked up their warehouse and tried to call. The message said that the number has been disconnected. I researched it more and I firmly believe that the company went out of business. So I gave up and went with Signal cables. I'm very happy with the choice. Good luck.

I would definitely be hard to reopen if your phone has been disconnected; not a good sign.

I tried calling their "for overseas customers" number and it said it's disconnected. I guess Cobalt Cable is out of business (unless someone has the inside scoop).

    I'm calling Signal Cable!

The posts about Cobalt began in the AV Forum back in May. Man, were outta the loop here. SDA fans and Club Polk are a small gene pool. :D

Why go anywhere else Carl, no other audio forum conjures up so much drama and discontent as CP.;)

I wound up putting my big order in with Signal.

Frank at Signal was very helpful. I mentioned being a member of the Polk Forum and he gave a 5% discount. Then we got to talking and I said I know Doro. He freaks out, takes back the 5% discount and adds an additional "You know that asshat Doro" fee. I said..."but you didn't let me finish. I said I know him, but the knucklehead needs to be hung by the balls with some Signal Cable!"

    I got my 5% discount reinstated! :D

    Seriously, Frank was VERY helpful!

Yes he is, and knowledgeable at that. He could easily try to sell you all the most expensive cables, but he didn't do that. He sold me what would get the best out of my two systems.
