RM7, RM8 or OWM3?
I'm trying to decide which pair of speakers I should purchase as my rear surround speakers. I currently have a pair of TSi200's, a CS10 center channel and a PSW110 sub. I've considered getting a pair of TSi100's because they would probably blend in the best, but I'd like to have something smaller for the rear speakers.
The system gets a lot of use from movies, TV, video games and music. I'd love to hear some feedback from anyone who has experience with these particular models, or any others that aren't too expensive. Thanks!

I listened to the OWM3's in a store a few days ago. I wasn't really impressed however, for a rear, they would probobly work good. They can be mounted fairly easily too which might be good for you. Since you already have the TSi200's up front, getting a pair of TSi100's could be cost effective depending on where you get them from for rear's. I have not heard the RM8's or RM7's though.Current Setup:

I decided to go ahead and get a pair of the OWM3s. The RM7 and RM8 are a little too small for my liking, and the TSi100, as much as I like their sound, doesn't really give me the option to put on the wall w/out looking a little strange b/c of its depth.
The OWM3 gives me a nice 4 1/2 inch woofer, the ridiculous mounting versatility (shelf for now, but eventually will go on the wall), and my wife also preferred them. As much as I usually don't consider her input in regards to this stuff, she is my wife, so I guess I let her pick out this one thing!Mains - TSi200

Well, changed my mind! After listening to the TSi100s and OWM3s side by side, I decided sound is more important to me than mounting options. The 100s blend perfectly with my TSi200s and my CS10. The OWM3's just didn't quite do it for me. They'd probably work really well as a 5.1 or 7.1 system if you bought that many of them and put them with a sub, but with my set up, the 100s were what I needed. I just called and changed my order and I feel much better now!Mains - TSi200

Very nice. I noticed in another thread you changed your mind and figured you had posted in here about it too! Good call on the 100's. I also listened to both side by side and noticed a fairly significant difference between the two. Obviously the 100 takes up more space, but you cant beat that sound in that price range other than maybe the rti6's, but again, they are a bigger speaker in themselves.Current Setup:

Yeah, I've been flip flopping a lot lately, trying to decide what to go with. I figured I wouldn't be happy if I didn't go with what sounded the best out of the ones I was looking at. The TSi100s are really nice looking speakers too. My wife won't care for the larger size, but she'll be fine with it once we sit down and watch a movie!Mains - TSi200

$mitty,
Did you end up wall mounting the TSi100s? I'm in the same situation as you were last year.
Thanks!

Thank you for posting this! I was having serious buyer's remorse about ordering the tsi100's and not getting a smaller speaker like the OWM3's for my surrounds... I have the tsi400's and the cs10 with a 12" Klipsch sub. Now I can't wait for them to arrive!
