Epik Valor data/information?

Next up on my upgrade wishlist is a new sub and I'm looking at the Epik Valor based on some threads I've been reading.
But I'm having difficulty in finding any actual specifications for this sub.
Even Epik's website has scant/little for this sub.
Anyone got a link to any data or measurements?
Anyone want to 'testify' for this sub?
Thanks,
Erik

I think there are some FR graphs from the early adoptees in the Epik thread (or maybe it's on a separate thread from last year). I've talked to Chad, who for some reason has the graphs, but doesn't want to put them on his site yet.
Outside, it will do 101dbs at 20hz with a rise of 12dbs @ 40hz. This gives it a very controlled sound with great midbass punch. With room gain, you'll get extention into the teens. With eq you can shape the slope anyway you want.
You've probably read most of the posts from the owners. Everyone's pretty stoked about it. In your room, it will work great for both HT and music. From what I understand, about equal output of 2 PB10s above 30hz and very similar performance to the Hsu ULS15 without wireless or the ability to trade output for extention.
Combo rig:
Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B
PB13Ultra RO
BW Silvers
Oppo BDP-83SE -

I found the graph...hmmm...not as linear as I thought it would be for a sealed sub - quite a bit of drop off after 30 Hz in SPL.
I also couldn't find any info on how hard the sub amp was being driven for the SPLs on the graph.

Edit: Found this graph later in the thread:

Now that looks better!

Keep us posted and write up a good report!
I'm interested in how it does with music - I'm doing more and more music listening so for me it would be like a 60/40 split for Music/HT.
Thanks,
Erik

The only thing that worries my is the size. The Caliber is HUGE. -
IIRC the box is tuned to 19hz. Max output is up somewhere north of 40hz, but with the right placement and room/boundary gain, you should get flat, reference level or close to it, bass in your smallish HT room. A drawback of your room is that it's square, but that will effect all subs. In comparison to your 303, it will be a heck of an upgrade. I know you're considering a PB10 too, but I think the Valor would do more for you and is worth the additional $150 or so...especially for music.
You might want to call Chad and discuss it. He's a great guy and if/when you catch up to him.

That's what I was thinking.
And the Valor does fit my budget.
Thanks for the input!
