is this worth getting into folks? i keep hearing all this talk about tt's. seller is already meeting MY price. but in the meantime i got a used hdtv so i may have to hold off on this deal. but for those who know...IS THIS A DEAL? thanks all.

I'd do it. What's $200? I wish that guy lived in Columbus. For $200 plus all the vinyl you can't go wrong. yeah, but there isn't much that comes up with google. maybe because it's from overseas. dunno. any other opinions to add to this? and kgingras, it's $50 more for all the vinyl. but it'd be a start.

thanks joe. i caught most of those reviews. i was hoping someone here possibly had some hands on experience with this brand. sometimes it's hard to go off of reviews from folks you know nothing about. but i know most folk here and i pretty much trust what most of them say.

edit: actually, i have already visited all the links you posted. i tried to do some homework before asking questions here. still seems there's just not enough info to go off of on the net...

thanks scomp. some of what i read points to the fact that replacement parts are over-priced and near impossible to get a hold of. i think i will probably steer clear, being this would be my first tt and all...thanks for the replies fellas!

I'd do it and for a buck a piece I would take the vinyl too.

well, it needed a new cartridge and to prove how rookie i am to this, i don't even know what the cartridge is. i'm guessing it's the entire needle assembly? then trying to start a whole new collection of music could prove expensive, though i'm sure vinyl can be had super cheap at flea markets/goodwill and what not. but now that i have set up my two channel, i have no room for a tt any longer. i only wanted to get this tt if it was an absolute steal of a deal. i just couldn't come up with much by way of quick research.
