Went to tweeter today to see if i could hear a pair of RTi10s.
Sold out but then the salesman said let me check in the back
to be sure.Well he came back and said no good but i have 2
RTi12s that were floor models should i bring them out and get
them hooked up. First i said how much the one was missing the
lower badge where it says polk audio and the other had a stain
on the grill.@ $298.00 each i said hook them up. He used a AVR
pioneer elite that had a price tag at $999.00. They sounded F*^%ing
good playing a few of my cds. They seem alot bigger in person then
the 10s. I'm not sure what to do , I know i would have to take the
wife out to dinner before i could even mention that i was out looking.
As far as knocking a few bucks off for the grill and the badge he said
NO.
What to do?

    You could contact Polk CS on Monday and ask if you can order the grill and logo. In the meantime, you could go back and ask for the manager. He might be able to help just a tad bit more than a salesperson, especially since they were floor model speakers.

    The salesman i had today is off on sunday so after i take the wife out
    for breakfest i will go in and ask for a manager and see if he can knock
    some off. And need to ask if they have a 30 day money back return just
    in case. Man i could see it now if i buy them then i would have to upgrade
    my power maybe like 2 555s. Not good i don't see an ending in site never
    ending upgrades. OH NO!

    No need for 2 555's. I have one 555 on my RTI a9's and they sound great

    A bit high on the price, especially for floor models. You could find used LSi15's for about the same money. No need for amp upgrade, one 545 is enough.

    The salesman also did a search for RTi8s and said there are a few
    in other stores out of state and they could be shipped to the
    whitehall store for free. @ $148.00 each.
