Its been a while since I had a really good push, sure some small stuff to get me by but nothing major.

Sweet rush knowing its only going to be a bit longer before bottled fire meets signal with a new piece in a darkened room.

The fix is set, The Jones is quiet now.

I will be letting some things go after the Fest.

RT... your way with words always brings a smile to this face. And being "undead" and all that jazz, consider that a compliment.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

lets say they are big, beautiful, and fully capture lightning in a bottle with a tube that has 10 times the current capability of a typical KT-88 or 6550, oh yea and there are four of them per amplifier.

Another member (Club Polk Nation Rocks) is picking them up for me and I will take possesion at the Fest.

RT1 hint....... a bridged single ended fully differential design incorpating the best of single ended and push pull designs think four single ended designs in one chassis. Hell some of you guys know what I like, shouldnt be that tough.

yep, they are now safe and sound thanks to big Lou.

He called me last night, said they are much bigger than he thought.........and heavier.

and yes Jesse's Manley's are the rare Euro, he is just shy about talking about all his good stuff.

So I am jazzed about getting the BAT's into the rack, well actually I think I gotta buy some type of dual amp stand as they take up quite a bit of real estate. Looking forward to hearing them with the Amazings.

Going to let go of two of my three amps either the BAT-VK500, Manley Stingray, or the B&K-7270.

yep. thats them. there boxed up and sitting in my spare bedroom as I type. boxed so well that its not worth openning them and hearing how they sound on a certain set of AR9's. Perhaps a preview of how they'll sound on some Platinums? (still got them too ;))

eff that dude.......I sat in the sellers house watching this guy pack them for the better part of three hours. thats alotta f&*kin tubes bro. I aint openning them boxes for no one.

75-85lbs.....EACH!!!!! sounded pretty darn good on some JM labs speakers the seller had. If you look in the picture, you'll see the faint hint of an Apogee ribbon speaker. they're the smaller ones (not the Diva). We listenned to those on his Threshold Monoblocks while we packed. apparently 165 or so watts of class a power requires HUGE monoblocks too. those thresholds might have been heavier than the frikkin BAT's

Trying to interpret RT1's posts has become an adventure...kinda like Raiders of the Lost Ark crossed with the screenplay for an Oliver Stone film. The fact that he continually refers to himself in third person is a prelude to full on Club Polk dementia.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
