My kid and I just finished playing PS3 "resistance-fall of man" in co-operative mode. My wife calls it a waste of time, I call it bonding. Looking for suggestions on another game to play.
Are there any games in co-operative mode where there is no split screen? Sometimes that split screen can get a little annoying.
thx

Sport games. I hear the new NHL game is really good. Not sure how they could make FPS w/o split screen, unless you get something like the Time Crisis 4.

Then you could get another PS3 and play it in network mode...not sure how well that would go with the Mrs. :)

Madden 09 or NCAA Football 09. Each of you can be any position on the same team. Imagine the bonding that occurs when your son throws you a 60 yard TD bomb! Have fun.

    Any of the Lego Games.

I second that. Lego Star Wars is loads of fun, and it's not a split screen. I think we've played that game for 40+ hours by now, there's just so much to do.

I second Little Big Planet. It is awesome if you have even more buddies (up to 4 can play)

With Rock Band 2 you get to form a band with vocals, two guitars, and drums. I've heard bad things about flimsy drumsets in other sets. But the Rock Band 2 drums are solid and a blast to play.

If you liked Resistance get Resistance 2. There is no co op on the campagne mode but you can play the co op online and it is a blast. Another good one is Warhawk. It is an online battle game and it is a blast. They are both split screen but definately worth a look.
