Speakers - $500
I need to make some money, to help me get a new place to live.
Believe me when I say I don't really want to part with these speakers.
They are rated at 500 watts RMS, EACH. They have never been really pushed to their limits, the most powerful amp they have ever been connected to was rated at 400 watts (NOT RMS). They are 24"x36"x24", they have 12 gauge wires. If you have an amp with enough power, they can break windows. There are two of them, so they are designed to be STEREO speakers. Each one weighs about 150lbs, I move them with a hand truck (as pictured), they are now in storage as I prepare to move.
If your car has a big system in it, you can hook them up and hear them before you buy them (WARNING: if your car system doesn't have 12 gauge speaker wiring you will only be teasing them, make sure your battery is fully charged). They have a tweeter horn and 12" base. The tweeter horn is so long it protrudes about 3" out the back, the cabinets are ported and the seal is good, no vibrations...I have never opened them...just ROCKED HARD to them. If you have been to rock concerts and stood near the speaker towers, that is what these are capable of. They will BLOW YOU AWAY.
Make me a decent offer, the cabinets are a little banged up from moving them over the years, their legs long ago gave out, but the metal screw top support bases are still usable.

There's definitely something in the water up there."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche

If that's true, I need to find out where to get some...
