What tweeters on these Mntr 7's?

I'm looking at these Monitor 7's on ebay item #290263367392.The tweeters have a white face with an aluminum dome.I've never seen those before!...what are they,and what model are the 7's?Thanks

    I'm guessing sl1000 by your description. Not the greatest tweeter, on par or worse than the dreaded sl2000. Shouldn't dissuade you from them as the tweets can be replaced if you find you don't like them.

    Monitor 7
    They are definately the SL1000's. I like them more than the SL2000 but not more than the RDO 194 replacement.

    Hmmm,I guess i'll pass on these speakers and wait for a pair with Peerless.I would go to the extent of changing capacitors,but from what I gather Peerless's are hard to come by and probably pricey.I am not a Stereo Martyr!The Peerless are black and have a small hole in the center of the tweeter dome Right?
