That was a fun weekend!

Friday was setting up for the bachelor party...in the rain of course. Then it was Miller Time so we (the bachelor of honor, best man and two of the groomsmen plus my girl) went to the bar for a few hours and killed a few pitchers. We discussed what the itinerary was for the next day and my girl was asking a bunch of questions about what happens. She's from the Land of Engs (England) so she has never really experienced the pheenomenon that is a bachelor/bachelorette party. So I asked her "Would you like to go?" She asked if it was ok and everybody was like "Yeah, sure." So she went to the bachelor party with me.

Saturday we have a BBQ, again, in the rain and then go to a strip club (Club Risque in Philly). She had a great time and all the girls (and many of the patrons) at the club were hitting on her and trying to drag her back in to the room, even offering free dances for her. She said she wouldn't go without me. Yeah, sorry, no details. What happens at the bachelor party stays at the bachelor party. No cameras either. Well, the fun was over because people were overly drunk and all the older folk were tired. So we piled on the school bus (only way to go in style!) and went back home. We were gonna sit out and burn stuff in the firepit at the house but one of the party goers stepped off the bus, took 1.5 steps and booted all over his shoes. That kind of ended things and cooler heads prevailed. That was around 3am.

Sunday was recovery and clean-up day. I was up at 9:30 to go get new tires for my truck (yay me!) andd then I went over to the house to see about cleaning up and grab the stuff I brought with me for the day before. I got there about 11 am. Yeah, looked like a graveyard. Bodies everywhere. Reeking of booze and puke and some were even snoring and farting in their sleep. I was like OK, Imma grab mah junk and bounce! The best man was up and I was like "Dude, Imma grab my junk and let you all recover." So I grabbed my junk and had a cup of coffee and told him to call when they started cleaning up and I'd come back and help out. Well, the remnants of hurrricane Ike I think it was roled through in the late afternoon so as far as I know, the disaster area is still there.

Yeah, fun weekend and I think I'm only out about 310 bucks. Good deal!

But PolkFest '08 happened yet. That and I don't think I want lap dances from anyone that will be there.

Not lap dances.........but perhaps the aftermath will be as you described. I don't know; it's my first PF and I only have heard the legends.
