I'm looking for a good quality subwoofer cable to use LFE with.

Found this on Monoprice...
http://www.monoprice.com/products/product.asp?c_id=102&cp_id=10236&cs_id=1023603&p_id=2681&seq=1&format=2

Is there anything such as a "sub cable"? Or is it just a digital coaxial cable like the one in the link?

Basically, most sub cables are coaxial cables. No real reason to use some exotic twisted pair of silver interconnects when the frequency range used by subs are small by nature, but as with anything else, the sky is the limit if $$$ are no concern.
HT Optoma HD25 LV on 80" DIY Screen, Anthem MRX 300 Receiver, Pioneer Elite BDP 51FD Polk CS350LS, Polk SDA1C, Polk FX300, Polk RT55, Dual EBS Adire Shiva 320watt tuned to 17hz, ICs-DIY Twisted Prs, Speaker-Raymond Cable

    2 Channel Thorens TD 318 Grado ZF1, SACD/CD Marantz 8260, Soundstream/Krell DAC1, Audio Mirror PP1, Odyssey Stratos, ADS L-1290, ICs-DIY Twisted , Speaker-Raymond Cable

Is there any performance boost/loss to be had between LFE (just 1 digital coax cable) and L/R cables?

Get one analog cable from him, not digital.
    Ben

Edit: Coax doesn't necessarily mean digital.

Unfortunately, Monoprice is all I can afford right now.

Is there a comparable product that monoprice offers?

for a subwoofer. you don't need a digital coax cable. just your standard long RCA cable is all.

check out this one on Epay. I don't have any experience with this brand or cable.. but it looks ok.. and in your price range. http://cgi.ebay.com/Tartan-Subwoofer-Cable-10-foot-CL2-rated_W0QQitemZ380066851771QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item380066851771&_trkparms=39%3A1|66%3A2|65%3A7|240%3A1318&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14

Yes, you will get better Low Frequency Effects from the 0.1 channel of a 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound system, provided you set up your receiver correctly to recognize there is a subwoofer connected to the LFE out.

Monoprice is a great place to shop on a budget, but pay a little extra to get their best stuff. It's still Wal-Mart pricing (usually much less for comparable stuff, actually).
    Alea jacta est!

Main reason I was looking at Mono is because I need a cable that is at least 30' long, to reach from my receiver to my couch, which is where I want to move my sub.

Wasn't sure if anyone else offered competetive pricing on long-distance runs.

Tarton is a division of Blue Jeans Cable out of Seattle, WA. Tarton offers cheaper cables that are built in China. They have a 35 foot RCA sub cable for $8.
