    The tweeter is working. Strange thing. I stared to trace the signal path from the speaker connections. After the fuse connection, I got sound from the tweeter. I pulled the fuse to look closer at it, put it back in, and the tweeter worked with the speaker wires connected from outside!!!. Could the dirty fuse connection just take out the tweeter? What else did I miss?
    The good news_ I have a fully functioning PAIR if 5A's, with peerless tweeters no less, and am a happy man. And they sound sweet. Next on to the cap and resistor upgrade.
