My good buddy and audiophile partner in audio torment DiPole Dan needs to downsize. His new townhouse in Annapolis is too small. Many of you own his products. He intends to sell the following in the next couple of weeks:

1. Outlaw LFM-1 Plus Subwoofer (Black), cost about $495. It is a great sub, inexpensive, but too big!
2. Definitive Technology SuperCube II Subwoofer, cost about $900. Great reviews.
3. Arcam AVR-350 A/V Receiver , cost about $2700. Arguably the best sounding one ever, but it doesn't have lossless decoding or the Audyssey EQ built-in.
4. Velodyne SMS-1 Subwoofer Equalizer, cost about $600.
5. Monster HTS 3600 Home Theater Reference Power Center with Stage 3v. 2.0 filtering. (I want to buy the PS Audio Power Plant Premier)
6. 2-pairs Magneplaner MGMC1 wall-mounted speakers, cost about $750/pr.

:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

The SMS-1 is in the want ads now. The other stuff, I need to figure out a reasonable price.

Post your interest here, or PM me. I don't want bids or any of that kind of ****. I always try to be fair, stand behind my sales, refund broken or defective products (unlike dylan dickhead) my history here is second to only a few distinguished members, but I'm catching up.

Oh! Did I mention that Dan will also have about 800 LPs, most are immaculate or unused. I have to figure out how to sell these.

Dan also wants to figure out how to make a donation to the Githens Center with some of the proceeds. Maybe a silent auction, or raffle at PF. Give me some ideas friends.:D

I hear ya Mark, and I agree. I've been encouraging him to post. He's 69 and feels a little awkward among some of our younger tigers. (After wittnessing what has been going on here do you blame him??). He's coming to Polkfest and I think you'll understand and immediately take a liking to him. He a wonderful man. We need more like him, but he is just not from our cyber Forum generation.

I am fronting for him, but I am also putting up my reputation for a good product, make the sale right, and refund any body's money if there is a problem.

If the Forum members or the mods want me to back off, I will without debate. I am as loyal to our members and anyone, and an undisputed advocate for Polk products. You see my posts.

    I still want that kiss!

Thanks for your kind words buddy. The SMS is your if you want it.

The Arcam is a sonic beauty, but it cannot keep up with the changes in the receiver market place. Nice unit for someone looking for a high performance receiver at a good price. Although, I still need to research the used market price, a offer it below that price point.

    Carl,

I have no doubt that he's solid, solely based on my interaction with you privately and publically.

The FM rules need to be tweaked and that's in discussion.

In regards to the conduct on the forum lately, I get it but it was also active member generated. The "virus" is gone, yet I don't see an increase in help or assitance on the forums that need attention.

I agree 100%! Somebody please reinforce the rules on how to deal with newbies. The rules are there, let live by them. I'll work with you or anyone at POlk to create a sticky, or another thread to review some basic Forum rules. I love newbies, let's help them, nuture them be polite, treat them as you would like to be treated. Warn them about selling, and warm members about bashing newbies with stupid questions. I want this club to process. Yess there are other Forums that are newbies are scorned and tortured, and others hwere they are welcomed into the community.

Let's for a "Shout Out or Welcome Section for newbies. It would be an easy start. I feel the love!:D

    Back into my spider hole.

I doubt that Dan would have anything to worry about here. Based on my conversations and emails with him, he is highly qualified to talk about audio. In regards to dealing with and reputation, you are both number 1 in my book.;)

Thanks Carl, but I don't feel deserving of that. I do appreciate it though.

Anyway....you know, come to think of it, Dan is very humble for the rocket scientist type. I do have reports of an aggressive driving style.:D I'd like to take a spin with him. I wasn't just a drag racer….

Yes, because I wanted to PM someone about some gear they were selling and it said I couldn't until I had ten posts.

Hope I haven't been too much a troll in doing os. I've tried to make posts that were largely relevant to the topics at hand.

I've been without an amp for 3 weeks now since Ike hit and it's killing me. :)
