Hi
Someone that lives near by has 2.3tl's for sale with the a-1 cable.He wants $1100.00 for them.Does that seem too high a price?

    There is a guy in Renton, WA has a pair too for $500. See Post on this forum.

    Are you in Wisconsin? Theirs a guy here that has some 2.3 TL for $1100 that look very clean. I am on the hunt as well but I'm holding off for a deal.

    Pricing is all over the place. Out here, there are steals and deals to be had, but in other parts of the country value seems to be quite a bit higher. There are some 2.3TLs here available for $600. I talked to the guy. He never used the IC cable, has it somewhere in storage. The speakers look to be mint. I just don't have the space or they'd be mine.

    Combo rig:

    Onkyo NR1007 pre-pro, Carver TFM 45(fronts), Carver TFM 35 (surrounds)
    SDA 1C, CS400i, SDA 2B

    I was just checking out Craiglist in Seattle. Cali, Texas, and Arizona and they had a lot of 2.3tl, 1.2tl and other SDA's very cheap. Can't wait till I go down south in 3 month. I'm taking the truck.

    I think it's too high based on no other information.
    CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.

    Look in the for sale section,was a set for 850 with 300 worth of rdo tweets, last standard set I saw went for 700.

    These are the ones available in my area but $1100 its too high for me. I would have to add another $500-$600 to upgrade the tweeters and crossovers. I offered him $800 a couple days ago and I got no response.

    He just re-listed them today...no bites on his first ad even at 600 bucks.

    I ran into my second SRT system last night ( First system was in poor shape in Reno...I passed ) on the golf course in Gilroy last night...in mint condition ...sitting in the billiards room unhooked up...unwanted anymore :)

    I'm sorely tempted, but I'm paying for my kid's bridal/baby shower next month, 60 head :eek:...and the 1Cs are plenty for my room.

    Are you going to snatch the SRTs?

    The SRT system is the proverbial old lady whose husband died and doesnt want these " Ugly black things " in her house anymore. I wont even be paying cash for them, she needs another computer and the swap meet trade is in effect :)

    Anytime...you know the way...wifes bingo nights are best for listening sessions at reference volumes :D

    I also wouldnt mind letting you take them home before I sell them, and listen to them there....I even have an extra pair of 7t's and a C16 pre to make it an entire Carver setup ;)

    I'd even let you place the craigslist ad......


    About the wife being amazing...that for sure she is, but I think I went overboard even for myself with these monsters in the dining room....I'll just leave the SRT's away till the HT is done.

    12 feet from the dining room is the 58" 1080p Panny Plasma....you can see it from the table while having dinner :D
