Ok so i know the rti a5's are supposed to be 8 ohms....but what if you bi amp them?
How does the ohm load stay at 8 ohms or does it change?
Once bi-amped you run the highs with one source and the mid and bass with another so what happens to your rated ohm load at this point?
Just curious.:D

The woofers run at 8ohms, and the tweeters run at 8 ohms. Say the XO point is 2000hz. Any frequency below 2000 would go mainly through the woofers, and anything above would go through the tweeters. Most XO's have a slight dip between the XO points where the woofer might actually run up to 1950hz, and the tweeters would start at 2050hz. There is a summing effect that would make the spl line nice, and flat;)
