Flat Wire?

I want to sneak my speaker wire to my surrounds under an area rug from the entertainment center. Is the flat stuff any good or should I live with lumps? I would want at least 14 gauge.

Are you using a receiver or a amp?
If you're using a amp, here is some excellent sounding flat cable:

It's on the warm side with good detail and nice bass. I use it in two of my rigs."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -
I will be using a receiver for now.Sharp Elite 70
