I liked it, too. The boys continue to go in a variety of directions with mostly very good to excellent results.

Watched this one last night; didn't like it at all. Worst movie I've seen in a long time. And I like almost anything.

It's even more whacky. It's a continuation of a theme in Ladykillers and many of their others. Human mayhem. Amateurs playing at the game of life. Brad Pitt is hilarious, imo.

I loved it. Not a single redeemable character in the entire flick. You gotta hand it to the Coen Brothers, as they always bring something way off the beaten path to the table.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I love the Coens, but did not like this one. Too disjointed, trying too hard to make the characters quirky and stupid.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

I liked it but it was not one of their better films. Similar vein as Lebowski, but no even in the same league.

I liked it too, though I can see why many wouldn't. I think it's a mood thing. All the characters, as said, were completely unredeemable and silly-stupid. My wife saw this in the theater with our daughter. They hated it, so I rented it myself and watched the first half alone. My wife watched the 2nd half with me, started laughing and got it...explaining that she missed much of the irony and self parody the first time through. If you like the Coen Bros. and if you're in the mood, then you'll probably like this one.

Liked it a lot, the ending felt tacked on but otherwise good.

This was crap. Was this done by the same guys that did Fargo? Now that was a damn fine movie.

The worst Coen film I've seen. I even heard rumors of awards for this flick, glad I RED BOXED it.

Count me in as one of the persons who liked it. Not the best Coen Bros film I've ever seen (The Big Lebowski gets that honor for me), but still good and gave me a good laugh.

I borrowed it from a coworker, and I'm glad I did. It was good, but nothing I ever need to see again.

Movie felt incomplete. While the premise was interesting, the execution was a bit off. Some laughs but I'm a bit disappointed considering the amount of fanfare leading up to the release. Not terrible nor memorable.

    Rental.
