Ok, I'm searching for a good DAC that I can use to bridge the gap between now and when a major major DAC is coming out from Scott Nixon at Peach Tree. If what I hear is correct, this guy has used some inside connections to put a DAC together that is out of this world.

At any rate, anyone familiar with MHDT?

I'm thinking either the Paradisea+ or the Havana

I know it's Chi Fi, but it looks like well made Chi Fi. Actually more like Tai Fi.

Thanks,

Mike

It looks well built and may even sound good, but there are a few strange design decisions. They use the ancient 16 bit Burr Brown PCM56's (which must be atleast 20years old). And they opted to forgo the use of a digital filter:eek:
